Position Vacancy

An opportunity exists for a registered clinician with an interest and/or experience in working with children, adolescents, couples, parents and adults to join our practice 2 to 3 days per week. 

Join our friendly busy boutique practice, that prides itself on being down to earth, pragmatic, caring and evidence-based and committed to best practice for all who enter our doors. 

The key responsibility is to provide evidence-based interventions and assessments for our clients, adhering to best practice guidelines with care.

Essential skills, qualifications & experience in your field: 

• Clinical Psychologist or Educational/Developmental or General Registered Psychologist/counsellor/play therapist
• Fully registered with AHPRA (where relevant)
• Registered with Medicare to provide services under the Mental Health Care Plan (for psychologists)
• Demonstrated commitment to current evidence-based knowledge
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Experience working with children and adolescents and their parents-preferable
• Diagnostic assessment services for children and adolescents and their parents-preferable
• Knowledge of parenting interventions - preferable e.g. Triple P, Circle of Security
• Availability for a minimum of 10 or more client appointments each week
